Year 1 had an exciting time exploring the Bradford Science and Media Museum last week! The children loved discovering the handson exhibits and had great fun looking for the Cottingley fairies along the way. A fantastic day of learning and adventure!

On Friday, year 5 and 6 were visited by world champion boxer Tasif Khan. He spoke at length about his childhood and upbringing in Bradford and the journey he went on from a youth club after school to fighting in venues around the world. His story of hard work and perseverance was a fantastic example for all of the children. He took questions from the children and even allowed them the chance to have a photograph with his belts. Tasif is now giving back to the Bradford community by running a community boxing academy which children can attend for only £1 per session! If any of your children have been inspired and would like to join his training, this happens every Saturday at 11am on the fourth floor of the building (108 Sunbridge Rd, Bradford BD1 2NE). #I'mPossible
