Our Year 6 children had a fantastic day exploring Buckden as part of their geography learning. They spent the morning investigating the village, thinking like geographers as they observed how the land is used and considered the reasons behind different types of land use. After enjoying a sunny picnic lunch, the children explored the beautiful countryside along the banks of the river, taking in the natural surroundings and putting their geographical skills into practice. It was a wonderful day filled with learning, exploration and teamwork. On Friday, RG had a fantastic visit to the Industrial Museum. We found out more about different types of transport and what it looked like a long time ago. We enjoyed sitting on the train, stamping our own letters and even had a special visit into Mr Moore's house! We had so much fun
