5G have had two fantastic trips before half term packed full of exciting learning and hands-on experiences! Cliffe Castle – We travelled back in time to explore the fascinating world of the Ancient Egyptians! The children discovered more about this incredible civilisation and investigated why the River Nile was so important to its success, having the chance to create clay pots, weave baskets and make reed boats. CREST Awards – We also took part in our very first CREST Award session at Bingley Grammar! The children became young scientists, investigating fingerprints and discovering how these unique patterns can be used. They then worked collaboratively to design and create a flying rocket, putting their problem-solving, teamwork and creative thinking skills to the test!

🚌 Year 1 had a fantastic day at Eureka yesterday! 🚌 The children loved exploring the interactive exhibits, taking part in hands-on activities and discovering new things. 🌟🔍 They were a credit to the school, showing excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the day. 👏😊
