WOW Word: Travel! In Nursery, we have been learning about how we get around, exploring different types of transport across land, sea and air We looked at the difference between everyday vehicles, like our own cars, and emergency vehicles . The children noticed that emergency vehicles are bright, fast and loud, helping them reach people quickly when they need help Through role play, we made our own fire engine and thought carefully about all the important tools a firefighter might need . In our workshop, we had a go at drawing emergency vehicles using lots of bright colours and special patterns! What fantastic learning and imagination from our Nursery children!

1J had such a fantastic time on our trip to Tropical World. The children loved exploring and seeing all the amazing animals, especially the sleepy meerkats, who quickly became everyone's favourite. We were so proud of how well behaved the children were throughout the day – a credit to our school! It was a fun-filled day with lots of smiles and wonderful memories made.

Team Harper had a fantastic time at Tropical World last week! The children loved exploring the different habitats, spotting exotic animals, and taking in all the sights and sounds. A brilliant day full of smiles, curiosity, and learning!
